Invitation to Support JaAmPAC
The National Japanese American Political Action Committee (JaAmPAC)
invites you to join prominent Japanese Americans from across the
country to: (1) pool financial resources to make campaign contributions
to Members of Congress, who support legislation that is uniquely
important to Americans of Japanese ancestry; (2) provide support
for Japanese Americans running for Congress; and (3) oppose candidates
who have displayed positions and views that are anathema to Japanese
Americans.
A national PAC will give a strong voice for Japanese Americans to
garner congressional support for issues or projects that are uniquely
important to Americans of Japanese ancestry. This is the way the game
is played in Washington. Money talks.
JaAmPAC is non-partisan, non-connected (independent), and not affiliated
with a particular political party, candidate, or other organization.
JaAmPAC was registered with the Federal Election Commission in April
2003.
If you share our assessment that the Japanese American community would
substantially benefit from having a national PAC, support JaAmPAC by
making a contribution -- $20, $50, $100, $500, or $1,000 -- to support
JaAmPAC's mission. Your support is greatly appreciated.
